Accommodations

You are welcome to visit Polestar as a guest (on personal retreat or vacation), as an attendee of a specific Polestar program, or as an apprentice. Visitors are invited to participate in all of our classes, events, meditations, yoga sessions and meals as their schedule allows. Apprentices participate fully in the daily life of the community.

GUESTS / VISITORS
Meals are included in price the (most meals are prepared on weekdays). All rooms have a shared bath. Wi-fi is available and free, but there is no community computer. All classes and community events held during your stay are included. Silent retreat may be available.

For a Tent or shared Room:
-$40/night for a single
-$50/night for a double

For a Tent Cabin:
-$55/night for a single
-$65/night for a couple

For a Private Room:
-$70/night for a single
-$85/night for a couple

Tents, Tent Cabins, and Rooms based on availability.

PEAK Season:
December 15th - January 7th: add 30% to above rates

Airport pick-up is available from the Hilo Airport, with a $30 charge each way.

APPRENTICES
This is the rate for our apprentices. Meals are included in the price (most weekdays there are prepared meals). This type of stay also has the following: shared bath, wi-fi is available but there is no community computer, potential island excursions, trips to the water, and most all classes & community events during your time here. Please see the Apprentice page for additional information on that program.

When possible, we ask participants to begin their apprenticeship on or before the 1st Sunday of each month. This allows us to provide introductions and orientation efficiently for all new arrivals at the same time, and gives the group a chance to bond and connect.

• The rate is $150/week,
• with a two-week minimum stay,
• and 24 hours of work-trade per week.
